Discover Impactful Work:

This position will lead the inventory stockroom team in support of process development and production. The incumbent is required to perform daily material handling support of operations. Ensure materials are stored, staged, and transacted by established procedures. This role will cross train with the Shipping Team lead to ensure consistent leadership in both departments

Employee DevelopmentIndividual development plansProvide coaching and training to teamConducting performance evaluationsGive and receive employee feedbackStaffingTime-card administration and over-time managementPTO and overall attendance trackingWorkload ManagementPlan and track daily and weekly production metrics to supervise work in progressFacilitate regular team meetings to discuss updates on workloadResolving production problems in real timeOversee & drive 5S program in areas of ownershipFirst line of response for stock room team when they face problemsReport out results and barriers to execution to upper management

Keys to Success:

Education

High School Diploma required associate’s degree, preferred. Consideration may be given to those who hold 5+ years of dynamically responsible and relevant work experience. 

Experience

2 + years of experience leading a team of 5+ strongly preferredExperience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions preferredExperience with Windows-based and MS Office programs required (Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to lift up to 35lbsAbility to sit or stand for an 8 hour shiftKnowledge of electronics manufacturingAbility to read work instructions and performing basic troubleshootingAbility to support projects, perform training and work efficiently as part of cohesive teamsSelf-motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated skills in developing team members to their best potential.Strong sense of personal ownership and accountability for team performanceComfortable communicating and maintaining clear standardsStrong communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgroundsFamiliarity with using and creating process maps
