The OR inventory specialist is to oversee the operating room inventory control by keeping track of all products and supplies as well as comparing actual inventory to decremented supplies from the OR patient record.  This position requires a proficiency in the use of the inventory software, and a detailed knowledge of the Operating Room supplies and a strong attention to detail.  High school diploma or GED required.  Five or more years of OR nursing or surgical technology experience required.  Experience in financial analysis, operating efficiency, quality monitoring and 1-2 years of materials management. Has demonstrated knowledge of strict aseptic technique, emotional stability and personal integrity.
