Job Description:
Be the primary liaison and communication connection between our customer team, warehouse employees and suppliers. The ideal candidate will coordinate with the Material and Operations team to support all supply chain activities for the Welding, Accessories, and Cutting Division. The individual will be responsible for all supply chain activities in the Welding, Accessories, and Cutting group to include continual involvement with our suppliers and warehouse teams, as well as properly collaborating with and executing ITW Strategic Sourcing Initiatives.
Support activities related to procurement, storage, shipping, returns, NCN’s, cycle counts, parts delivery, and set up and managing end of life parts.Issue POs/releases to suppliersWork collaboratively with suppliers and customer service and warehouse staff to expedite shipments as needed for the businessManage material price variance, inventory turns and site cost reduction programsDocumentation of all cost savings and avoidancesResponsible for maintaining MOH goals as well as limiting the non-"active" inventory classificationEffectively communicate and resolve quality and delivery issues with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence of issuesParticipate in material management improvement projects (80/20, flow principles, MRD, PLS, etc).Work collectively within the WAC Materials Team to identify, implement, and maintain best practices within our businessesQualifications
Must have an associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related education pursuing or preferredPrevious materials, supply chain experience such as procurement, expediting, material storage, MRD replenishment and inventory control requiredExperience in PO generation, communication with suppliers, expediting, cycle count auditing and parts ordering is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision at times.Ability to build and maintain relationships within the division and externally.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and organizational skills.Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.Must be detail orientedAbility to read bill of material (BOM), assembly drawings, and prints.Strong computer skills: computer skills using D365, Omnify, SharePoint, Windows, Word, Excel and Intranet are required.Ability to meet deadlines as assigned.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
