Inventory Specialist

Based out of **Knoxville, TN** as an **Inventory Specialist** will use your skills to analyze data to understand how the business impacts inventory, collaborate with cross functional groups to drive improvement programs and automate processes, establish optimal inventory levels, and support the Global Supply Chain and Distribution business objectives. This position will work closely with global teams and operational leaders to effectively manage inventory levels for RAW, WIP and Finished Goods.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Analyze inventory data to understand business impact, correlation/discrepancies, and provide cause and effect scenarios to drive root cause solutions
+ Drive initiatives with global cross functional teams to effectively manage Excess & Obsolete
+ Facilitate meetings as needed to support goals and objectives
+ Identify and drive inventory improvement programs and leverage project management skills to drive actions with global cross functional teams
+ Collaborate with other functional teams to manage all aspect of system related attributes and parameters related to planning and inventory.
+ Ensure timely, accurate and comprehensive reports are available to meet the business needs.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor's in engineering, supply chain, operations, industrial, business, or finance
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
+ Proficient in Excel
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Must possess excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
+ Must be detail oriented with project and time management skills and a proven track record of meeting set deadlines
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
