**What you’ll do:**
As Inventory Specialist you will be working with specified EMEA wide networks to optimize inventory, reduce slow moving (excess and obsolete) & improve DOH (Days of Inventory on Hand) based in Eaton's Budapest office. You will analyze inventory projections using Kinaxis, identify risks, monitor and optimize inventory, drive corrective actions. define assortments and ensuring accurate planning parameters. You will define mitigation plans with stakeholders (Buyers, Network team, etc), working with cross functional teams on reporting and policies.
Further responsibilities:
+ Monitor current and projected inventory levels across the network vs financial targets and inventory entitlement, identifying reasons for deviation and driving corrective actions.
+ Prepare and align inventory expectations and fulfillment center (FC) as report out for the monthly FC process.
+ Accountable for preparing Inventory assortment proposal, consulting with network planners (raw materials) and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) & ensuring system parameters related to product segmentation/assortment are maintained.
+ Responsible for setting inventory parameters for finished goods in DC (Distribution Centers) / plants and raw materials/sub assemblies in plants as per expected service levels in our core systems including SAP, Kinaxis etc.
+ Monitors DC and plant service levels and the impact of adjusting safety stock and other parameters.
+ Analyze the impact of MOQ’s (Minimum Order Quality), lead times etc. on health of the inventory & highlight the same for review with buyers / category team.
+ Run scenarios in Kinaxis and simulates the impacts of inventory policy changes on total inventory levels across network Monitors and drives improvement in inventory performance metrics.
+ Conducts root causes analysis on pain points and recommend improvements/corrective action plans.
+ E&O / Slow moving inventory tracking and actions for improvement.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Production or related studies.
+ Relevant work experience in material or demand planning, inventory management and supply chain area.
+ Proficient skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations.
+ Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred SAP),
+ Technology savviness: knowledge in Power BI, SQL or Kinaxis is advantage.
+ Excellent communication in English, other European language knowledge considered as advantage.
+ Able to work on-site from Budapest office in hybrid working setup.
+ Strong in problem solving, strategic thinking, influencing decision makers, passionate about improvements and attention to details.
