The Inventory Control Senior Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory management operations within the oil and gas sector, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted production and project delivery. This role leads a team to manage inventory processes, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and driving efficiency improvements.

Job Description Oversee complex and high-volume inventory operations, including receiving, storage, stock rotation, and dispatch, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational demands.
•Ensure precise tracking, documentation, and analysis of inventory through advanced ERP and inventory management systems, supporting strategic inventory planning.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to manage supply levels in line with fluctuating project and production needs.
•Lead and refine cycle counting, stock audits, and reconciliation activities to drive inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage across multiple storage locations or departments.
•Establish, enforce, and continuously enhance inventory control policies and safety protocols in compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
•Analyze inventory performance trends, identifying and addressing variances, obsolete inventory, and inefficiencies to improve working capital and cost-effectiveness.
•Mentor and provide leadership to inventory supervisors and staff, promoting professional development and fostering adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.
•Support risk mitigation efforts through proper handling, documentation, and tracking of critical and hazardous materials.
•Deliver comprehensive reports and actionable insights to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and contributing to strategic planning.
•Champion and drive initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, system utilization, and report effectiveness across the supply chain.
•Other duties as assigned. Operational Warehouse environment, multi-site requirement.
•Flexible working patterns and must be willing to work overtime including weekends, at the discretion of the Manager. Additional Requirements:
•In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Vice President/CEO from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
•To participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme.

•Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
•Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in inventory management or supervision, preferably within the oil and gas or related industry.
•Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and industry-specific compliance standards.
•Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
•Ability to analyze data and implement corrective actions effectively.
•Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations related to inventory handling.
Preferred Skills:
•Experience in [industry-specific, e.g., retail, manufacturing, Oil and Gas].
•Knowledge of lean inventory and just-in-time (JIT) practices.
•Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
•Knowledge in SAP.
