As the Inventory & Returns Supervisor, you will lead a team of 10 hourly associates and two salaried direct reports, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient returns' processing, and product quality for the Appleton business line. You’ll work closely with teams across Receiving, Returns, Outbound Operations, Finance, and Quality Control to drive process improvements and uphold operational excellence. AS THE INVENTORY, RETURNS & QA SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:
Supervise and assign daily tasks for cycle counters and the returns department. Review and analyze daily and weekly inventory adjustments and changes. Support the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly reporting of inventory control results and activities from the warehouse management system (Oracle). Analyze and report on metrics and recommend ways to improve the inventory control function. Develop, maintain and evaluate queries and reports from the WMS to support inventory control activity analysis and reporting. Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity, including management and analysis of the inventory synchronization process between the WMS and the host system. Analyze existing business processes and logic that impact inventory throughout the distribution center through personal observation and user interaction. Develop new applications and tools as well as ad hoc and refreshable reports to help with root cause analysis or to streamline related processes. Perform data analysis and written audits of returns processes, inventory movement analysis and other procedures. Develop deep understanding of WMS features and functionality to facilitate inventory analysis, collaborate with users from the department and IT and resolve issues.Returns & QA Responsibilities
Manage the customer returns process and ensure timely turnaround of replacement orders and factory returns Lead investigations into customer complaints, identify root causes for errors, and drive permanent corrective action. Drive supplier quality improvement Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve production, productivity, and quality by preparing and completing action plans.WHO YOU ARE:

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5 years experience in inventory, returns and/or quality in a distribution center environment. Solid understanding of distribution environments, including purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations. Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills. 3+ years of experience supervising hourly and salaried employees in a distribution center environment Proven change management experience Ability to lead and manage Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Profiecient with MS Office Suite, strong with PowerPoint & Excel Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. Proven experience in inventory control, returns processing, and/or quality management within a distr warehouse environment. Strong analytical skills with experience using Oracle WMS or similar systems. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
