About the role.
The Dry Storage Clerk is responsible for managing all incoming production materials. This position is for six months contract with possibility of extention.
What you’ll be doing.
Unload and rack all containers of packaging materials and ingredientsManager materials in the yard as part of dry storage warehousingKeep processing and packaging supplied with materials and ingredientsReceiving, transferring and consuming materials in SAPAbility to communicate with team members, readers, and carriers on schedulesCompletes and maintains all required documentation (daily/weekly/monthly)Daily recycling of materialsEnsures good housekeeping and 5S practices are maintained in areaAnnual cleaning of the racksOther duties as assigned
What you’ll need to be successful.
Basic computer skills required, SAP knowledge a definite assetAbility to work with minimal supervisionHigh school graduate and can perform basic mathematical calculationsMust have strong communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and be able to maintain goodworking relationships with Supervision and coworkers as well as ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to work on a rotating shift basisAbility to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organization skillsMust be willing to work in a team based atmosphereMust be willing to successfully complete Forklift, Personal Fall Protection and Scissor/Boom Lift training(minimum height requirement 20’). Must be able operate this equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Physical Requirements:
Physically capable of performing all required duties including some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Compensation Package: $29.97 CAD hourly
