The Senior Manager will plan and control inventory of finished goods to meet sales and distribution demand. Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning and production and sale forecasts. Oversees routing, scheduling, and storing of goods. Manage and improve inventory efficiency to ensure on time delivery and cost saving. At this level, the position has a greater degree of impact on the business results and is the integrator of Regions and Supply chain nodes in the planning processes optimization through a robust inventory governance and continues improvement strategy. Responsibilities: + Develops and implements inventory policies, standards, target setting [Base business, events, NPI, Rationalizations], guidelines, technology, and procedures across the financial cycles, across supply chain nodes/regions. + Plans inventory per sales forecast, to meet both customer service and inventory targets. Coordinates and schedules the shipment of finished goods from system locations or outside facilities to fulfill contractual agreements with customers across regions. + Follows through on problems related to customer invoicing, receipt, payment and delivery as necessary. + Reports the shortages and surpluses of company products to management. Driving regional engagement and accountability. Manages inventory expenses, orchestrates Material Review Board to minimize SLOB. + Analyzes changes in the inventory for optimization considering supply & demand variability as well as costing [Intercompany Profit in Inventory, COGS, financial reserves drivers/assumpti9ons. Communicates relevant information to appropriate management and sales, finance partners and End to End supply chain sponsors. + Analyzes results and initiates appropriate action to meet business goals. + Improves profitability through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements on a cross functional basis. Planning Processes Maturity Advancement Core responsibilities: + Renewal of Global & Regional Planning governance to enable profitable growth (flexible and efficient processes). + Establishes an effective Supply Feedback Loop process including system enhancements [OMP, Power BI, others], Including APS Parameters setups/renewal applying Inventory Entitlement Model + Acts as primary liaison & integrator with Global Plan CET & Finance partners to ensure alignment of strategies, objectives, and execution. + Leads monthly IBP – Planning processes improvement ideation, tracking sessions and consolidates updates/project scorecard for sponsor updates. + Leads Distribution optimization CIP harvesting sessions and initiatives execution tracking. + Drives a documented and formal training program to ensure consistency on use of APS system planning functionality. + Know & follow EES policies and procedures and assures that direct reports know and follow EES policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility. + Completes trainings in area of responsibility and assures that direct reports are trained in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. + Observes and promotes safety, security, industrial hygiene and other rules established by the company. Attend applicable health, environmental, and safety training programs. Sets standards for safe behaviors. Recognize and reward safe behaviors in others. Ensure that direct reports employ safe practices. Enforce safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management or bachelor’s in sciences with Major in Engineering; MBA is preferred. + A minimum of 6 years of operations management and leadership experience is required. + Manufacturing / plant management, planning / materials management and sourcing / procurement experience is required. + Minimum 3 years of People Leadership experience is required. + Minimum 3 years hands on working experience with inventory / planning / order management / MRP computer systems experience is required. + Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP/LlamaSoft) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred. + Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP, LlamaSoft) preferred. + Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts and management of database tools. + Green Belt Six Sigma Certification preferred. + DRIVE Certification preferred. + Process Excellence & CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management / IBF) Certifications preferred. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
