About the Role:
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a pivotal role in executing our inventory strategy by combining replenishment, supply, and demand planning into a seamless process.
Your work will ensure inventory levels meet demand forecasts while optimizing stock turnover and minimizing excess inventory.
This role is a 12-month contract based in our National Support Office in Burnley.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse market trends and historical data to forecast product demand
Collaborate with merchandise, marketing, and supply chain teams
Review and approve purchase orders and store replenishment recommendations
Manage purchase orders and supplier performance
Act as a key liaison between merchandising roles for inventory efficiency
Prepare and present stock performance reports
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Who we’re looking for:
You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic and high performing team.
You are an analytical, outcome driven problem solver who is flexible and adaptable in their approach and possesses excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
You’ll need:
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
Understanding of merchandise strategies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and strong time management skills
2–3 years of experience in inventory management within a retail setting
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
Experience with planning tools or systems (Blue Yonder is preferred)
