Responsibilities The Opportunity This temporary position will support the PGT project by helping to build and maintain accurate data that feeds our inventory systems for PBNA (Pepsi Beverages North America). You’ll play a key role in making sure our inventory parameters are set correctly, that data flows smoothly, and that we’re able to make smart decisions for our supply chain. This role is all about collaboration, problem-solving, and making an impact through data quality. Your Impact As an Inventory Optimization Analyst (Temporary 1 year), your main responsibilities will include: 1. Input Data Initialization and Maintenance You will help set up and maintain key inventory parameters for over 200,000 product-location combinations. These include: Target customer service levels Internal service level ranges (Min/Max) Forecast accuracy and error tracking Lead times for production and transportation Holding costs and stocking strategies Safety stock policies Review periods and Days of Coverage (DOC) settings Thresholds for alerts and exceptions You’ll also work with local experts across different teams to ensure all values are appropriate and aligned with how we operate. 2. Quality & Analysis of Inventory Settings Run sensitivity analyses to understand how different inputs affect our inventory results Review and summarize findings with the IO team Help compare different scenarios and recommend the best approaches 3. Create Sustainable Defaults Develop smart defaults for each input to support a scalable and sustainable process once the project is complete Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Fluent in English (written and spoken skills). 2 - 3 years of planning and/or inventory management experience. Intermediate - Advanced Excel (data cleansing and validation, pivot charts and tables). Strong analytical skills and ability to manage and process large data sets efficiently. Ability to summarize data into actionable insights and perform tasks such as filtering, concatenating, lookups, mass updates, reverting data, running sensitivity scenarios, and comparing outputs. Bachelor’s degree preferred in fields such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or similar. Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to present findings and insights to senior business stakeholders.
