Responsibilities The Opportunity: The SAP IBP Inventory Optimization (IO) Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal safety stock levels across the supply chain network by leveraging SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools. The role involves making mass updates, managing business rules, monitoring analytics, and performing weekly maintenance tasks. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure data consistency and quality, as well as supporting analytics and visualization efforts. Your Impact: As Inventory Optimization Analyst your functions would consist of • Support IO Capability Lead • Make mass updates upon request from capability lead/business • Manage/Update the business rules for default input values • Monitor & respond to alerts found in IBP Analytics Stories • Run scenario in IBP and generate case impact using excel templates • Perform weekly maintenance tasks (source change, in/out) • Support Cross Functional Partner FTS/IT • Monitor issues related to IO Quality of Solve (QoS) • Implement/monitor data consistency checks • Investigate input data discrepancies • Co-ordinate with FTS IT to upload data for manual key figures • Support Analytics/Visualization • Archive weekly data • Implement enhancements • Update dashboards weekly • Support ad-hoc data asks • Support maintenance of SAP analytics story Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Education • BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline Experience • Solid understanding of inventory planning concepts like safety stock using multi-echelon model • 2 to 3 years of experience in Inventory Planning, Safety Stock, Supply Chain Planning Skills • Experience working in SAP IBP (preferred) or similar ERP systems • Experience working with MS EXCEL, Powerpoint, Word, and Business Intelligence.
