Inventory Movement Specialist

The Role

We are seeking an Inventory Movement Specialist to join the Production Planning and Inventory Control team. Reporting to the Manager of Inventory Control, you will be a liaison between the Sales Team, Warehouses and Logistics.  You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring inventory receipts, storage, transfers and sales order shipments at 3rd party storage facilities.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Monitor and action any open transactions – TO, SO, PO and Direct DeliveriesEnsure adequate levels of inventory in 3PL’s and arrange transfers if requiredCheck the Logistics Tracking sheet and action items as requiredCheck Power BI report for Backlogged orders and action as necessaryRelease all new orders as necessary from 3PL’sAudit invoices and approve as needed for AP purposesBalance and reconcile inventory in all locationsResolve any outstanding discrepancies from inventory reconciliationEnsure all Frozen orders are picked and postedPurchase Order EntryUnderstanding of where/how to access data inside D365 as well as the other platforms we operate with. Ie. Northscope, Cool Earth, Power BI etc.

Qualifications:

D365 proficient, super user preferredBe a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and ability to learn quicklyAble to handle working in a fast-paced environment and critical thinkingHave strong computer skills, exceptional excel skills or an aptitude to learn excel (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)Strong analytical skills and ability to apply practically Have excellent communication skills - verbal and writtenBe able to work independently and in a team environmentTeam player with strong relationship skillsWillingness to travel periodically inside North America
