Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an **Inventory Modeling Tech Specialist (Experienced)** to join our Demand Forecaster team in **Dallas, TX** .
This role supports the BGS-Government Planning organization and plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain by accurately predicting future customer demand for aircraft spares within the fast-paced environment of aerospace.
The BGS-G planning organization is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Demand Forecaster to drive optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction. This role requires leveraging data analysis, operational trends, and collaboration to create accurate forecasts and strategic recommendations.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
+ Champions culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative energy
+ Update planning data in execution model & perform monthly/quarterly updates
+ Assist with identifying excess inventory for disposition
+ Assist in independent model analysis to determine if any adjustments are needed
+ Identify and communicate demand usage trends across platform for correlation between region, supplier… etc.
+ Identify issues and question if there is an unusual demand pattern
+ Coordinate with SIOP integrator to ensure model data can be pulled and compiled for reporting and tracking purposes
+ Support SIOP Business Management Reviews
+ Compile & review forecasting metrics (forecast accuracy, bias, etc.)
+ Provide forecast to supplier management and asset management functions to aid in supplier agreement and combined buy strategy
+ Perform Periodic data flow audits to confirm compliance with supply chain planning process design
+ Interpret and present model results and recommendations to supply chain leadership, program managers, customers, internal/external auditors and peers
+ Coordinate with SCM/AM/Engineering on BOM checklist and material transition (all configs captured to prevent unnecessary buys or duplicates)
+ Work with SPM core on system issues/defects and enhancements
+ Identify opportunities for improvement (adjustments to forecasting methodology, SPM parameters, etc.)
+ Perform what-if analysis to determine impact of contract or operational changes
+ Perform Simulation Analysis periodically to identify potential performance risks
+ Support Proposal Efforts
+ Coordinate with New Business focal to provide bin requirements for proposal support and identify any risks within the plan
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 3+ years of experience with asset management, demand forecasting, engineering, or simulation
+ 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain Planning
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment
+ Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value
+ Bachelors or Master’s in computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering
+ Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $77,000.00 – $110,000.00
