Inventory Management Coordinator (Nights)

Other accountabilities may include the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, receiving exceptions, morgue, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. **_Qualifications_** ● Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills ● Process improvement experience ● Must be teamwork orientated ● Attention to detail/accuracy ● Experience with Receiving Process preferred ● Experience with SAP preferred ● Proficient in Microsoft Office **_Responsibilities_** **_​_** ● Troubleshoot and manage receiving exceptions for overages, shortages, damages, licensure issues, track and trace issues, recalls, and new items ● Manage the DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) quarantine zone and process quarantines in the DSCSA Exceptions Portal to ensure accurate and timely disposition of inventory ● Interact with the DSCSA COE team, Corporate Inventory team and other distribution centers to troubleshoot and resolve receiving exceptions and/or DSCSA issues ● Complete inventory counts, audits, and collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner ● Perform other Inventory functions as assigned, such as but not limited to outdate pulls, morgue, profiling, inventory reconciliation, and cycle count ● Perform root cause analysis to minimize OWI issues ● Strong understanding of LSS and key participant in LRTS ● Adhere to all government (OSHA, DEA, FDA) compliance and safety regulations ● Complete paperwork accurately and within compliance guidelines ● Completes assigned tasks within the set metrics. **_What is expected of you and others at this level:_** ● Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments ● Accurately performs multiple operational tasks assigned ● Collaborates with others and builds strategic alliances in order to influence important changes and outcomes. ● Ensures customers have a positive experience; commits to meet or exceed customer expectations. ● Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified. ● Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments ● May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members ● Works closely with all departments within the Distribution Center to address issues and resolve problems quickly and efficiently ● Collaborates with peers and corporate inventory team to create opportunities for process improvements ● Participation and commitment to LSS/LRTS ● Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certification _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
