ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Support the Dover Alloy Operations Team by coordinating the receipt and maintenance of Indirect Material inventories used in the manufacture of superalloy Conduct weekly counts of all manufacturing supplies to ensure that minimum quantities are always available Organize location of supplies on the Shop Floor keeping everything neat, easily accessible, and safe from damage Analyze usage rates, understand supplier lead times, and adjust requisitions to streamline flow of manufacturing materials Perform periodic review of Indirect Materials upon receipt to ensure specification and quality requirements are met Submit requisitions using Oracle or similar interface to support the Procurement department Liaise with Category Manager for Alloy & Elementals to prepare sales invoices and perform other administrative functions as it relates to monthly scrap metal sales Provide monthly Indirect Material spend forecast and month end inventories to Finance Department Creates, develops and accounts for tools and templates to simplify and streamline efficient communication between team members Interface with other departments (Shipping/Receiving, Operations, Engineering, Quality) to resolve problems with timely resolution Helps to ensure that organization procedures, quality and the standards for the department are adhered to and maintained Engage with Procurement and Operations to resolve problems with supply / mitigate risks that could result in a disruption to production schedules
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience with knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop floor work environment Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Oracle. Ability to be trained on and safely use mobile equipment Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
