What's the role? At Bloomberg, we manage a range of inventory to support clients and for internal operations. This equipment must be accounted for from receipt, while in inventory or issued and when returned. Inventory Control and Warehousing are critical enablers of BLP’s controls processes to ensure goods are accounted for and flowing as intended. Inventory controls and Warehouse operations are executed at the regional level, whereas this role is a global support role responsible for process and systems subject matter expertise, developing and monitoring key controls, process improvement, developing dashboards, KPIs and supporting decisions through data. We'll trust you to: + Develop your network to learn BLP’s operations and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business + Take the initiative to dive into processes and data and develop strategies to enhance operations + Be accountable for proactively monitoring key results and taking action as needed + Take ownership for ensuring procedures are documented and current, and that procedures are adopted consistently among the global team You'll need to have: + Experience working in SAP warehouse and inventory controls + Process mapping skills; particularly the ability to transform undocumented processes into clear end-to-end workflows and SOPs + Deep dive into data to develop meaningful dashboards and metrics using tools such as Excel and PowerBI + Ability to influence multiple stakeholders through compelling data and building buy-in We'd love to see: + LEAN/six sigma certifications + Experience managing IT hardware eg servers, routers, PCs Salary Range = 105000 - 130000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
