**Inventory Control - Team Lead** **Somerset, NJ, US** **On-Site** Reporting to the Somerset Logistics Manager, this position is a “hands-on” Team Leader responsible for coordinating and leading warehouse and receiving activities, including the proper receiving and sampling of all incoming raw materials and packaging in accordance with Agilex policies and procedures. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **Your key responsibilities** + Coordinate the workflow of the Receiving Department, including prioritization of activities and distributing work to assigned personnel. + Perform all Receiving functions, including checking deliveries for correct items/count/weight, sampling incoming raw materials, and reporting discrepancies or damages. + Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly manner, ensuring quarantined materials are properly segregated and storing approved raw materials correctly. + Communicate and coordinate between departments to resolve PO discrepancies and ensure safe handling and storage of products. + Perform daily maintenance checks on material handling equipment and ensure proper working condition. + Support the Logistics Manager in ensuring overall safety and environmental compliance on the Receiving floor, including direct supervision during hazardous duties and adherence to safety practices. **We bring** + A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally; + The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose; + Barrier-free communities within our organization where every employee is equally valued and respected – regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity; + A firm belief that working together with our customers is the key to achieving great things; + An eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future. + We offer competitive pay, career growth opportunities, and outstanding benefit programs. **You bring** + High School or equivalent. + Experience in handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and familiarity with HAZMAT regulations. + Three to five years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial lift experience required + Previous experience as team lead preferred + Basic computer skills + Preferably, knowledge of SAP + Understands OSHA and other safety/regulatory requirements, chemical safety + Work as a team; follow instructions; works without supervision + Ability to lift heavy materials up to 60 lbs. The hourly rate provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
