Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of Uganda Warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

Inventory Management; receiving and issuing of stocks and ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for dispatch by assisting in loading while adhering to batch management.   - 40%

Participation in Uganda warehouse cycle counts and quarterly stock takes. - 20%

Coordination of Uganda ABPs replenishment and timely submission of Vendor invoices to Nairobi. – 20%

Warehouse Organization; Segregation of goods and proper housekeeping by organizing the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility.  - 10%

Safety compliance; Follow Solenis EHS safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Manager. Participate in Uganda Warehouse and office 6s activities. - 10%

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Supply chain management.

•    At least 5 years progressive warehouse management experience.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.

   Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Problem solving abilities and proactive approach to tasks.

Experience in operating lifting equipment e.g. stacker or forklift (forklift certification) will be an added advantage.
