Inventory Control Specialist
**Title:** Inventory Control Specialist **Location:** United States-Florida-Jacksonville **Job Number:** 17461 Receives, stores & issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or other storage facilities. Also, counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on receipt or invoice. **What you will be responsible for:** + Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications. + Will perform data entry. + Will perform location audit reconciliations. + Fill orders or issues supplies from stock. + Prepare periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock. + Requisition articles to fill incoming orders. + Compile reports on use of stock, adjustment of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes and refusal of shipments. + May mark identifying codes, figures or letters on articles. + May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock. + May count stock on site to fill orders. + All other duties as assigned Qualifications: **What you will need to be successful in this role:** + Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Must have a minimum of one to three years related experience and/or training in a logistics environment. + Familiarity with Aircraft parts is strongly preferred. + Able to work with minimal supervision. + PC Literate (Microsoft Office) **The rewards of your career at AAR go far beyond just your salary: (Adjust as needed per location)** + Competitive pay + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. + 401(k) retirement plan with company match + Generous paid time off program + Professional development and career advancement opportunities **Physical Demands/Work Environment:** + The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
