Inventory Control Manager

Siemens Fort Worth, Texas facility is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee and manage a company's inventory, ensuring sufficient stock is available for sales, while also optimizing costs and minimizing potential shortages. They lead a team, utilize data and software, and work with suppliers to achieve these goals. Control.

You will make an impact by:

Lead the inventory control team and ensure all operational activities are on track (cycle counting, COGI reconciliation, physical material storage setup, Control Audits). Responsible for driving the inventory control program across the site for SKUs ensuring all stakeholders provide full support and compliance to maintain accuracy. Conduct root cause analysis to identify the issues effecting Inventory inaccuracy and partner with stakeholders to eliminate same. Support the Logistics Manager with analytic insights to drive improvements in logistics optimization. (inventory accuracy, storage utilization, cycle times) Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects across the supply chain. Work with IT to leverage the full capabilities of our current systems (i.e. SAP, scanning etc.) and identify and implement improvements. Process reports and analysis sight to identify trends and patterns to reduce discrepancy levels Oversees inventory integrity (accuracy) and update (timelines) through use of IT systems/development of same. Participate key in organizing any stock take activities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar Minimum of five years of experience in an Inventory Manager Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies Expert SAP experience Experience conducting tracking and data analysis Product and inventory management certification a plus

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
