Main Ingredients of the Job 

As a US FOODS® Inventory Control Clerk SR, you will be critical to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. As an Inventory Control Clerk SR, you will Under limited supervision, help maintain inventory levels and product quality by performing essential clerical functions, including records compilation and retention, computer updates, and requisition preparation. This provides the division with up-to-date inventory records to ensure efficient shipping and a high confidence in customer products. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. 

Compiles records from ordering, shipping, and receiving materials.Updates information on the computer to maintain inventory records.Assesses stock supply and reorder status.Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items.Assists in inventory and procedural audits when necessary.

Schedule:Monday through Friday 6:00 am- finish

What you bring to the table 

Must be at least 21 years of age.  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ability to work in environments between 0 F and 34 F degreesA minimum of three years of experience with inventory control and HAACP is required.Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, have strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and basic computer skills. Must be able to work on complex tasks and prioritize workload. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others in the division.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.  The expected base rate for this role is between $17.81 - $25.00
