These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​ We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. **Job Description** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and stockroom functions + Kitting of manufacturing orders to the production floor in a timely and accurate manner + Picking of parts for customer orders and forwarding to shipping department + Performing Cycle Counts and being a key participant in the annual Physical Inventory + Putting incoming material away in proper locations + Review component shortages and bring parts to appropriate area upon receipt + Support Receiving, Return to Stock and de-kit material actions + Establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives; maintain cycle count records to allow review by management and provide reports related to cycle count activity + To coordinate and oversee the daily cycle counts; investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages + Audit processes along with paper flow errors and try to understand issues that may affect the accuracy of the inventory + Organization of inventory areas and maintaining efficient material handling and storage • Ensure that all transactions are recorded appropriately in ERP system + Lead and execute the annual physical inventory + Correct inventory discrepancies + Ensures that FIFO is followed + Ensures that customer orders are picked and delivered to shipping to meet customer requirements + Ensure that customer orders are shipped according to all approved process and on time to meet customer commitments + Ensure product is received properly per approved processes and made available to end users in a timely manner **Education and Experience:** + BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial) + Associate’s degree in business, Mathematics, Economics preferred + 2 -5 years in an inventory control supervisory role in a manufacturing environment + Knowledge of MRP, including backflushing and the use of phantoms in BOM’s + Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills. **Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills + Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment + Thorough understanding of the ERP system and how inventory transactions flow through to ensure inventory accuracy + Excellent communication skills + Computer Experience required including a working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook + Knowledge of continuous improvement + Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude **Supervisory Responsibilities:** + None + Supervises warehouse and stockroom team of non-exempt employees **Training Requirements:** + IFS training + HSE/Quality Overview + Solid Works + Teledyne Ethics/Harassment + Hazardous Communications **Personal Protective Equipment:** + In accordance with Teledyne Marine Systems safety policies + Hard Hats required in designated areas + The use of Safety Glasses is required throughout all production areas of the facility + Safety shoes as required per TMS policy **Training Requirements:** + Operations Area, Production, Service, Shipments + Stockroom and Warehouse Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
