Inventory Control Clerk - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet.
Pay:
$21.00/ Hr + $1 Shift Differential = $22/Hr
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 4:00PM - 2:30AM

Major Responsibilities:
Respond to inventory issues from operators on the floor
Ensuring system count matches physical inventory
Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level
Look for missing product in storage locations
Update WMS to match physical through various methods/ Research and document root cause
Accurately receive inventory
Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory
Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentations
Data setup and validation
Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications
Audit existing data for inaccurate data
Manage unsalable inventory to resolution
Accurately identify, log, and document potential damage.
Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required.
Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution center
Process analysis and documentation
Assist with daily and weekly reports
Assist in development and implementation of special projects and tasks
Other projects and tasks assigned by supervision
Qualifications:• 2 years of general office experience required• 1 year of customer service experience required• High School diploma or equivalent required• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required• AS400 experience preferred• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
