Inventory Clerk I

GENERAL DESCRIPTION \n

Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.\n

DUTIES \n\nEnsure compliance with established internal control procedures\nReceive and enter verification data for inventory\nUnpack and perform quality and quantity checks on manufacturer\nStore and log material within a storage facility using a forklift truck, hoist, or other material handling equipment.\nPerform cycle\/inventory counts of product inventory\nProperly label product locations\nAdjust inventory in database, if applicable\/as requested\nMaintain various files and records\nHave knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in material managment \nRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job\nDrive vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites\nLoad delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured\nMaintain warehouse facilities as assigned for the purpose of keeping them in orderly, clean, and safe condition\nRespond to inquiries of staff for the purpose of providing information regarding the status of deliveries\nUse appropriate equipment to safely move\/lift items (e.g. pallet jack, forklift, cart)\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1-2 years of verifiable logistics experience\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to leverage available resources to accomplish objectives.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS \n

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.\n\nMust be able to walk and stand on level and\/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day. \nMust be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices. \nMust be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow\/knee and reach above\/below shoulders. \nMay be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances. \nMust be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.\n\n
