Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Willowbrook, Illinois. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth operations across assembly lines. Your contributions will support the company's ability to maintain optimal stock levels and meet operational demands. Responsibilities: • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages. • Coordinate inventory activities along assembly lines to support seamless production processes. • Perform regular asset inventory checks to maintain updated records. • Conduct annual physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. • Maintain detailed documentation of inventory transactions and adjustments. • Assist in identifying and resolving inventory-related issues to improve efficiency. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory needs are met. • Implement inventory control techniques to optimize storage and organization. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all inventory operations. Requirements • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role. • Familiarity with assembly line operations and their inventory needs. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to perform physical inventory counts and reconcile data accurately. • Proficiency in inventory tracking systems and software. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. • Knowledge of inventory control methods and best practices. • Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
