Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing inventory processes to ensure efficient operations within our wholesale distribution environment. Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate records of inventory using specialized software and systems. • Conduct regular physical counts to reconcile system data with actual stock levels. • Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Organize storage areas to optimize retrieval and maintain a clean, efficient workspace. • Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the appropriate departments. • Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels. • Adhere to safety and health regulations while handling warehouse equipment. • Process and document returns, ensuring proper tracking and reporting. • Communicate with suppliers and transportation providers to coordinate deliveries. • Prepare and present inventory reports on stock levels, supply chain efficiency, and procedural improvements. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role. • Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. • Familiarity with tools such as ADP Financial Services, Cerner Technologies, and Epic Software. • Strong organizational and clerical skills with attention to detail. • Ability to create charts, graphs, and reports to summarize inventory data. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and suppliers. • Basic math skills for inventory calculations and auditing. • Experience in handling inbound calls and addressing inventory-related queries.
