Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring seamless supply chain operations, and supporting the overall efficiency of our wholesale distribution processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in inventory systems, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. Responsibilities: • Maintain precise inventory records using relevant software and databases. • Conduct regular physical stock counts to verify inventory accuracy. • Coordinate the ordering and receiving of products, ensuring shipments align with invoices. • Organize storage areas to facilitate easy retrieval and efficient use of space. • Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the appropriate departments. • Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels. • Adhere to safety regulations when handling warehousing equipment and materials. • Process and document returned goods in alignment with company policies. • Communicate effectively with suppliers and transport companies to streamline operations. • Generate reports on inventory levels and supply chain performance for management review. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field. • Proficiency in inventory management software, such as ERP systems. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. • Familiarity with technologies and tools such as Cerner, Epic, and ADP systems. • Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams and suppliers. • Experience in clerical duties, including auditing and charting. • Knowledge of safety and health regulations in warehouse environments.
