Inventory Associate (Day Shift)

Job Description

Position Description: An inventory associate is responsible for safely using a forklift to load/unload materials and deliveries moving them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks. The inventory associate is also responsible for ensuring that the production floor is fully stocked, anticipating the needs of the production teams they support.

Responsibilities:

Unload and upload materialIdentify damagesReport shortagesReport quality deficienciesTransport raw materials to production workstationsKeep updated records of inventoryProduce activity logsComply with company policies and guidelinesAssist in keeping a safe environmentMust be able to lift 50 lbs

Additional Qualifications:

Self-motivated problem solverStrong attention to detail and follow-up problem solving skillsExperience within the last 2 years as a forklift operator or similar roleKnowledge of industrial equipmentValid or prior certification to operate a forkliftGreat time management skills
