Inventory Analyst
Description We are looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to inventory management and optimization processes within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and expertise in inventory systems, working collaboratively to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed analysis of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management and reduce excess or shortages. • Utilize Epic Software and ERP systems to monitor, track, and forecast inventory needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency. • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company standards. • Manage interfaces between inventory systems and other platforms, including IBM AS/400 and other software. • Review and refine collection processes to enhance operational effectiveness. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inventory-related inquiries and concerns. • Generate detailed reports using tools such as QuickBooks to support decision-making and strategy development. • Implement best practices for inventory control and recommend improvements to current procedures. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on inventory goals and strategies. Requirements • Proficiency in Epic Software and ERP systems for inventory management. • Experience with IBM AS/400 and interface engine operations. • Strong analytical skills with a focus on auditing and data accuracy. • Familiarity with inventory forecasting and optimization techniques. • Ability to manage and refine collection processes. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. • Customer service-oriented mindset with problem-solving capabilities. • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other reporting tools for inventory analysis.
