Inventory Analyst
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team in Coralville, Iowa. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stockroom operations and material distribution. This position focuses on planning, auditing, and troubleshooting inventory issues while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and clients. Responsibilities: • Develop and coordinate schedules for cycle counts, recounts, and reconciliation processes. • Collaborate with shift supervisors to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies effectively. • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal and external inventory accuracy standards. • Maintain open communication with clients to understand and address their inventory support needs. • Oversee inventory adjustment reports, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution of issues. • Monitor stockroom operations and establish processes to improve inventory control. • Analyze and address material distribution challenges to optimize operational efficiency. • Provide timely responses to audit inquiries, ensuring all documentation meets compliance requirements. • Support cost analysis efforts related to inventory adjustments and stock management. Requirements • Proven experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, or material distribution. • Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and executing cycle count processes. • Familiarity with audit processes, including internal and external inventory audits. • Excellent communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. • Proficiency in analyzing inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective measures. • Knowledge of inventory adjustment processes and related documentation. • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to resolve issues. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex inventory systems.
