In this role, you will:
Support (Sr) Mgr - Investment Product Expert and our portfolio strategist team in a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to
Implement and communicate investment portfolio strategy that aligns with HSBC house view to internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales Managers, Premier Relationship Managers and Investment Product Experts) and external customersRegularly review investment portfolio performance and adjust investment portfolio strategy based on latest house view changes as well as product updatesMonitor product performance and work closely with internal and external product development partners to enhance after-sales servicesMonitor Distribution’s current product sales and holding mix and identify problems/solutions to drive healthy customer portfolioProvide internal training materials on portfolio strategy as well as investment product insights to internal stakeholdersDevelop external seminar materials that align with HSBC house view. Be keynote speaker in customer seminars required by Distribution networkProvide tailored made high net worth customer’s portfolio review reports to Premier Relationship Managers and Investment Product ExpertsHSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB)

Knowledge and experienceMinimum of five years of working experience in leading financial institutions wealth management business. Experience as an investment strategist, investment counsellor, product expert or financial advisor is preferredFor internal candidates, at least one year of working experience as a Product Expert or Investment Counsellor in WPBDeep knowledge of allocation strategy and specific financial products (e.g.structured Products/FX/Investments/Trusts/Estate Planning/Retirement/Protection/Mortgage and etc.), financial markets, economic cycles, asset allocation and regulatory requirement relevant to the productsSolid analytical skills using Bloomberg, Morningstar and Factset toolsStrong presentation skills delivering logical, insightful, easy-to-understand seminarsA solid understanding of global anti money laundering standardsAccreditationsAttain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by marketAttain any internal standards as required by countryLeadership capabilitiesHave or attain an understanding of the immediate regional Global Wealth Strategy and the ability to plan own activities accordinglyAmbitious about providing the highest standards of delivery to colleagues and clientsDemonstrates ability to set stretch goals for self and the ability to deliver these with courage and tenacityBe a mature professional to manage internal/external stakeholder’s psychological fluctuations during market turbulenceAuthentic and motivate self to deliver at paceMake considered decisions that protect HSBC and our clientsKnowledge of local and Group compliance regulationsYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
