Job Description Insight Global is seeking Kubernetes Admin to join one of our medical device clients. We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to design, deploy, and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters using Nutanix. This role involves overseeing the full cluster lifecycleincluding upgrades, scaling, high availability, and disaster recoverywhile automating setup and configuration with tools like kubeadm, Helm, and Ansible. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in configuring RBAC, pod and network security policies, and managing secrets. Responsibilities also include setting up production-grade networking (CNI), storage (CSI), and ingress controllers, as well as leading root cause analysis for performance issues or outages. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, integration of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk, and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions to support microservices deployment. Skills and Requirements -78 years of Linux and container experience, including 4+ years managing on-premises Kubernetes environments. -Deep hands-on expertise with kubeadm, Helm, Kubernetes internals, and infrastructure provisioning (bare-metal, VMs, -storage). -Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers (NGINX, Traefik), cert-manager, and service mesh concepts. -Skilled in monitoring and troubleshooting using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Kubernetes-native tools. -Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and implementing Kubernetes security best practices. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
