Responsibilities: + Diagnostic imaging + Operate and adjust imaging equipment + Explain procedure to patient, position patient and equipment + Obtains and records a complete clinical history pertinent to the examination requested. + Evaluates requests for appropriateness, refers concerns to coordinator and/or Radiologist. + Ability to compress and evaluate arterial and venous puncture sites. + Selects appropriate technical factors for requested imaging exam. + Assists in the instruction of student technologists and new personnel. + Selects accurate post processing techniques in order to optimize vascular/interventional images. + Has full knowledge of inventories available and their applications (catheters, guidewires and stents). + Maintains aseptic technique during procedures and scrub with physician. + Ability to access and interpret lab values and patient monitoring equipment. **What you will need:** + AAS in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent hospital-based certificate program) + Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology + Advanced certification in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology preferred **Pay Range:** $34.05 - $49.61 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
