**The role youll contribute:**
Manages the daily operations and develops, implements, and monitors plan for patient care services in the radiology department.

+ Coordinates and assists Radiology Director in the development of a comprehensive implementation process in collaboration with appropriate team members. Includes: communication and utilization of a change plan, evaluation of the impact/results. Conducts thorough analysis of projects by assessing needs, expectations, supporting data, and develops implementation plan in collaboration with appropriate team members.
+ Performs other related duties as required and deemed necessary per Radiology Director.
+ Follows Standard of Behavior guidelines per hospital policy.
+ Manages the collection required audits and monitors various reports to ensure Radiology practices meet compliance plan and customer service objectives.
+ Maintains confidentiality of data and analysis.
+ Participates in strategic planning.
+ Provides supervision and direction to Radiology staff.
+ Maintains JCAHO, OSHA, NCR, EPA and state standards with documentation.
+ Acts as coach for Personnel Development Process.
+ Incorporates patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action.
+ Manages the collection of the Radiology QI/QA/PIT data analysis.
+ Monitors and updates Radiology database for all Radiology functions; procedure directory, reports, audits, policies and procedures, job descriptions, CEs, and other programs.
+ Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Explanation. and Thank) at all times.
+ Willingness to train outside the department when deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
+ Work with Radiology System Integration Team to standardize data analysis and QA/QI reports.
+ Works in the Radiology Department as needed to meet the demands of customer/patient needs.
+ Assists Radiology Director with department/personnel conflicts and communication of issues to Radiology staff.
+ Assists Radiology Director in communication of time sensitive messages and issues to staff.
+ Manages information that identifies, evaluates and resolves problems associated with data analysis processes.
+ Assists Director and CRS with monitoring and updating CPT Codes.
+ Initiates communication with Radiology leadership to discuss appropriate issues related to database changes, CPT coding, compliance objectives and QA/QI processes.
+ Understands the direction of the future and is able to translate changes in the health care environment into opportunities for the organization.
+ Assumes responsibility of Radiology Department needs in the absence of the Department Director.
+ Collaborates with Radiology Director and Team Leaders to review/discuss pertinent issues and strategy regarding staffing, patient care, equipment and supplies, and policies and procedures.
+ Assist in maintaining information in department computer system.
+ Back-up PACS administrator including covering call and handling all PACS issues when PACS administrator is absent or unavailable.
+ Primary contact for the Radiology Department for issues regarding the use or functionality of Cerner Millennium/Radnet.
+ Attends a minimum of 75% of scheduled department meetings and is accountable for obtaining information from missed meetings.
+ Working knowledge of Cerner System, can trouble shoots problems with orders and makes corrections. Manages collection of daily work logs and incomplete exam reports are reviewed and verified.
+ Monitors the quality of care and outcomes through the use of CQI techniques.
+ Assists staff in procurement of equipment and supplies.
+ Assess organizational needs related to workload management processes.
+ Acts as a resource for the Radiology Director and Radiologists in decision-making processes.
Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed**
+ Associates degree Required
+ BCLS - Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA)
+ RDMS, AART Registered, or RN
+ 4 years of related experience
