Provide competent patient care to the above indicated patient populations by obtaining and appropriately interpreting data, making appropriate decisions based on demonstrated knowledge of age-specific growth and development, and appropriately adapting procedures and treatmentsFollow all IR policies, procedures, and practices as described in the IR Policy and Procedure ManualAssist the physician directly in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilizing sterile technique, and following departmental policies, procedures, and AORN standardsInstruct student technologists and peers as requiredComplete all job-related paperwork in a timely manner including consent forms, CPT coding, charging, logbook, and inventoryProvide proper and safe transportation of patients to and from the Radiology DepartmentMinimum Qualifications:
Must be credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Must be credentialed in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology (CIT) or Vascular Interventional (VI) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or willing to obtain within 2 years of employmentNo experience is required, at least 1 year as diagnostic radiographer is preferredSelf-motivated, detail-oriented individualAbility to work flexible hours, including flexibility with daily starting and ending timesBasic computer skills.Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current statusCompletes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 yearsPosition Highlights and Benefits:
