Short Description

A medical interpreter is a professional who provides interpretation and translation services for patients who speak limited English and healthcare staff. They are responsible for interpreting medical information accurately and confidentially, ensuring that patients understand their medical diagnosis, treatment options, and other important information. They also provide translations of medical documents, such as records and prescriptions.  

Experience Required 3-5 years' experience preferred Education Requirements High School / GED required License/Certification Requirements Certification/Licensure Interpreter/Translator Certificate and/or Certificate of Competency from an approved Interpreter/Translator training program preferred Special Requirements Open to obtaining certification as employee of CUHC.Excellent communication skills required.Ability to work out of normal hours if needed when Voyce cannot be used by the patient preferred.Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation required. Foreign language(s) written translation skills required. Listening skills required. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information required. Basic computer skills required.  Salary Min ($) USD $22.00 Salary Max ($) USD $35.00 Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
