Job DescriptionGlobal Demand & Supply Balancing TIRES located in Hanover-Stöcken is responsible to ensure an efficient and effective intercontinental supply planning and execution within the worldwide Continental Tires network.
In this exciting environment we are offering a mandatory internship starting September 2025 and lasting at least 6 months in order to ensure an optimal learning experience. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internship is feasible, with the mandatory part lasting at least 12 weeks.
Your Responsibilities:
You will support our Global Demand & Supply Balancing department by optimizing reporting processes and system integration with a focus on:
Automating data refreshers, report updates, and result delivery, including the creation of clear and effective visualizationsReducing manual input, such as Excel-based data, by enhancing system integration within the reporting landscape using the KNIME Analytics PlatformEnsuring sustainability and transparency through comprehensive documentation of processes and solutionsQualificationsOn-going studies in the field of Business Economics, Business Engineering or similar study programsMain focus on supply chain management, logistics or ITAdvanced knowledge in Knime Analytics Platform preferred (basic knowledge is mandatory)First practical experiences in PowerBIExperienced in working with MS Office-programs, such as Excel or PowerpointVery good German and English language skills, written and spokenExcellent numerical understanding and analytical thinkingEagerness to learn and growGood adaptability as well as creative thinking and a proactive mindsetAbility to quickly absorb and apply new knowledgeIndependent and proactive working stylePlease attach your current certificate of enrollment and also your current transcripts of records and an extract of certificate for a mandatory internship.
