The Opportunity:At Sensor and Reagent Development BGE, we are at the forefront of innovation in the healthcare industry. Banking on the technical expertise and know-how of our skilled and dedicated team of scientists and engineers, we design and develop sensors and reagents for blood gas and electrolyte (BGE) analyzers. Our products are essential for accurate and reliable patient diagnostics, impacting lives every day.
Support Process Development: Collaborate with R&D and operations teams to develop and refine sensor production processes by advancing testing and release methods.
Conduct self-sufficient experiments and testing series using both commercially available and custom-made instrumentation.
Independently execute experiments and test series employing both commercial and custom-designed instrumentation.
Data Analysis and Follow-Up: Execute independent data analysis and generate actionable follow-up activities based on the analysis results. Develop insights and results that contribute to informed decisions throughout the development process.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of development activities to document actions taken and enhance technical understanding.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth design transfer and address any technical challenges.
Who You AreYou are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university after November 2024, preferably in the field of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science, and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.
Furthermore you are:Background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science or similar
Hands-on experience with UV-VIS spectroscopy, optical sensors, fluorescence technologies, and related fields (preferred)
Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and automation, preferably using Python, Matlab, and SQL
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
