Internship Event Producer

As part of the Fever Originals team, you will use data and insights to create one-of-a-kind events and experiences that allow people to have unforgettable moments.

This position will support Fever Originals’ team. Your role will be to help the project manager with her daily tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at an early, high-growth stage and have ownership in creating new experiences.

This role requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget.

Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role. The right candidate will be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal skills.

Now, we’re looking for a talented and driven intern to join us for new concept developments for our Strategic Scalable Initiatives, based in either Chicago or New York.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production & Project Management Intern, you'll be embedded in a fast-paced environment where creative storytelling meets operational excellence.

This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in both event production and project management, supporting the development and rollout of our newest Scalable programs and experiences. 

You’ll work closely with our creative directors, technicians, cast, and venues to bring each show to life—while ensuring we stay on budget, on time, and aligned with our artistic vision. Responsibilities include;

As a Local Producer:

Coordinate all rehearsals and performances Book staff, casts, and other freelancers for performances Be the main point of contact onsite during show weeks, including live show needs and run-of-show logistics Be the coordinator between the onsite casts, directors, and stage managers, and the internal Fever stakeholders Manage venue logistics such as equipment deliveries, set installs, and load-outs Order supplies as needed, maintaining inventory Maintain production schedules, checklists, and trackers

As a Project Manager:

Scout, book, and contract venues, serving as the local point of contact Assist with invoice processing, budget tracking, and contracting with partners and staff Help ensure compliance with internal processes (e.g., legal documentation, insurance, permits) Liaise with internal teams (marketing, operations, legal) to keep shows running smoothly

 

REQUIREMENTS

Fluent English skills Preferably having already an experience in the event production industry Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of a project in an organized and efficient way Understanding of technical production requirements Huge appetite for learning and the ability to pick up new skills quickly You'll be solution-focused, identifying problem areas and then try to find solutions Have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships Able to communicate with partners, brands, agencies, and talent on efforts Collaborative and willing to “get hands dirty”

You’re about to graduate and have strong analytical and communication skills. You’re thriving in a fast-growing and demanding environment and are happy to take ownership of exciting projects.
