As an R&D Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in advancing our bio-based and renewable applications, contributing to innovative research and development efforts. **Your main tasks and responsibilities:** + Actively participate in experiments ranging from lab to pilot scale, supporting R&D engineers in bio-monomer production and bio-polymer research. + Conduct detailed investigations into the synthesis and processing of bio-based materials. + Perform comprehensive characterization of produced bio-monomers to facilitate subsequent polymerization trials. + Be responsible of qualitative and quantitative analysis and data elaboration of raw materials and products. + Present results at group meetings and summarize your work in form of reports. **To succeed in this role, you will need:** + Current student or recent graduate (Master’s or PhD) in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering, with a strong foundation in polymer chemistry. + Hands-on laboratory experience in conducting organic chemistry synthesis. + Know-how in characterization analysis like GC, HPLC and GPC. + Fluency in English - other languages are a plus. + Skilled in MS Office 365 (especially Excel) **What we offer you:** + 25 days holiday (exclusive of bank holidays) + Defined contribution pension scheme + Employee Assistance Program/health care + On-site car parking/public transport allowance + Access to a wide range of discounts No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.
