Internship: Sustainability Analyst (non-thesis)

The field of Sustainability and ESG is developing constantly. New reporting standards, scientific insights, working groups, best practices and initiatives emerge in a rapid pace. If you want to use and develop your analytic skills, knowledge about sustainability and ability to organize an implement while contributing to a program that evaluates and assesses nature related risks and opportunities, enhances biodiversity and ecosystem services, this internship might be for you! Philips is an industry frontrunner in these areas, which is increasingly recognized by investors, customers, supply chain partners, and talents seeking to work with us. **You are responsible for** + Conduct research to various reporting standards and guidelines in the fields of biodiversity, water, and chemical pollution. + Provide daily support to ongoing global programs and cross functional activities (Eco-design, Climate Action, Life Cycle Assessment). + Build the Natural Capital community by initiating engagement activities. + Prepare the external report on Philips interdependencies with nature (TNFD). **To succeed in this role, you‘ll need the following;** + Studying towards your Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field like Environmental Sciences or Business/Economics or Governance. + Strong affinity with Sustainability, and knowledge about the Sustainability sector + Structured, pro-active and independent working attitude. + Excellent English verbal and written skills. **In return, we offer you** We offer you a hands-on role in a new and exciting sustainability program of Philips and work together with experienced and motivated professionals in the field of sustainability. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata. + Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours. + Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net + Paid holidays per internship term. + The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop **How we work at Philips** We believe that we are better together than apart.
