The field of Sustainability and ESG is developing constantly. New reporting standards, scientific insights, working groups, best practices and initiatives emerge in a rapid pace. Philips is an industry frontrunner in these areas, which is increasingly recognized by investors, customers, supply chain partners, and talents seeking to work with us. **You are responsible for** + Conduct research to various reporting standards and guidelines in the fields of biodiversity, water, and chemical pollution. + Provide daily support to ongoing global programs and cross functional activities (Eco-design, Climate Action, Life Cycle Assessment). + Build the Natural Capital community by initiating engagement activities. + Prepare the external report on Philips interdependencies with nature (TNFD). **To succeed in this role, you‘ll need the following;** + Studying towards your Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field like Environmental Sciences or Business/Economics or Governance. + Strong affinity with Sustainability, and knowledge about the Sustainability sector + Structured, pro-active and independent working attitude. + Excellent English verbal and written skills. **In return, we offer you** We offer you a hands-on role in a new and exciting sustainability program of Philips and work together with experienced and motivated professionals in the field of sustainability. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata. + Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours. + Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net + Paid holidays per internship term. + The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop **How we work at Philips** We believe that we are better together than apart.
