POSITION SUMMARY:
The Internet Firearm Specialist will assist the Firearms Merchants in managing the online presentation of firearms online. You will be responsible for SKU creation, pricing, and managing system workflow to initiate, proof, and get web pages live in a manner that accurately and effectively presents the items on the company’s website. The position will also have involvement in analyzing sales and profitability data and will help to identify and capitalize on market trends to drive revenue growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists the Firearm Merchant in developing and executing e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and conversion, with an emphasis on enhancing our Drop Ship program size and speed to market.Monitors and analyzes online sales and profitability data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.Helps to manage the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring that all products are accurately and effectively presented online.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that online promotions, marketing campaigns, and content are aligned with the overall brand strategy.Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in e-commerce.Assists in the management of product inventory and the development of pricing strategies.Works with the customer service team to ensure that all customer inquiries and complaints are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.Provides support to the Digital Merchant in day-to-day operations and projects as needed.ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's DegreeYears of experience: 0-3 years of experience in Retail Firearms business preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with wide variety of firearms, experience in proof-reading catalog and/or web page copy, experience with assortment/item creation and maintenance, and experience with data analytics regarding sales, profitability, trends, etcKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed business decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A self-starter with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
