Responsibilities :
1. Supervision of welding activities and ensuring that welders adhere to established welding procedures and safety guidelines
2. Plays a crucial role in maintaining welding quality by implementing and monitoring quality control measures, including visual inspection, NDT (non-destructive testing), and weld procedure testing.
3. Current supervision and control of components and welded parts according to internal procedures
4. Involved in training other personnel, including welders and inspectors, on welding techniques and safety procedures.
5. Required to document welding procedures, results, and any deviations from the established standards
6. Expected to identify and address welding-related problems, whether it's related to welding parameters, materials, or equipment.
7. Effectively communicates with other members of the welding team, including welders, inspectors, and engineers, to ensure smooth coordination of welding activities
Requirements:
1. Proficient in various welding processes, materials, and equipment, including the ability to develop solutions to basic welding problems
2. Detailed knowledge in the field of welding and materials
3. Knowledge of welding standards (e.g. EN ISO 9606, EN ISO 15614)
4. Good knowledge of EN ISO 15085
6. Experience in a similar position - min 5 years
