**Your role at Clorox:**
Manage the importation into and export of shipments from the ANZ business. Ensure shipments are delivered in accordance with the business requirements. Act as subject matter expert (SME) to the ANZ business in relation to imports and exports. Provide accurate reporting for ANZ shipments and their status. Ensure all aspects of customs clearance, Free Trade Agreement, duties, and required documentation is adhered to for imports/exports. Manage costs for international shipments, ensuring adherence to contracted rates is maintained. Act as SME to the ANZ/ASIA business, supporting Global Trade Compliance ensuring risk for imports/exports is minimized.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Manage the import shipments into Australia and New Zealand. Including coordinating with planning and suppliers to ensure shipments are dispatched to meet the scheduled arrival date.
+ Track inbound shipments into Australia and New Zealand. Ensure reporting of shipments accurately advises the ANZ business teams of shipment status. Includes updating of internal systems.
+ Coordinate with Global Strategic Sourcing team (Procurement) to manage the assigned freight forwarders and shipping lines. Ensure cost of shipments is managed in-line with the rates assigned. Includes regular review meetings and monitoring of performance.
+ Set and track against KPI targets: % On Time Delivery, Shipment cost vs budget, cost savings, and Lead time. Develop and execute action plans to improve these KPI’s. Issue and explain the Logistics scorecard.
+ Attendance in relevant meetings to ensure shipment status is provided. Including support for projects that rely on the use of ocean or air transport relating to imports or exports.
+ Support and manage the customs, duties, Free Trade Agreement, and regulatory requirements for imports to Australia and New Zealand. Provide support to the Global Trade Compliance team in managing ANZ trade compliance. Focus on regulatory adherence and risk control.
+ Responsible for assessing and develop action plans for improving the ANZ import/export processes.
+ Support Global Trade Compliance as the SME for International transport in the ASIA/ANZ region.
+ Supporting with the Warehouse management system data management.
+ Daily stock reconciliation of warehouse management system vs. ER
+ Supporting and building knowledge of Warehouse Management System and ERP systems.
+ Sourcing shipping/logistic related rate for ad-hoc requests. Coordinate Ocean Freight tender with procurement team locally & international.
+ Handle shipping/logistic related enquiry from business and find out the best solution/cost effective way. (i.e. mode of shipment and etc.)
**What we look for:**
+ 3+ years’ experience working in a Supply Chain team, preferably Logistics.
+ Experience in managing and liaising with key stakeholders (eg. Freight Forwarders, Suppliers, Internal Customers).
+ University Degree in Logistics (or similar studies) is preferred.
+ Ability to think strategically and a have continuous improvement mindset.
+ Ability to influence key stakeholders.
+ Strong planning and organization skills.
+ Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
+ Can prioritize and deliver against deadlines.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ A team player and willing to learn/cross train with other team members.
