International Tax Manager

As International Tax Manager, you will be a key member of the Global Tax team, focusing on international tax planning, compliance, and reporting. You will play a critical role in managing global tax matters such as BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, APB 23 unremitted earnings, FIN 48, and Pillar 2 compliance, in addition to supporting tax planning, structuring, and M&A activity. You will report to the Associate Director of Tax and collaborate closely with global stakeholders and the transfer pricing team.

Key Responsibilities

International Tax Planning & Reporting

Lead the analysis and calculation of international tax provisions including BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, and foreign tax credits under U.S. tax rules.Oversee the management and technical documentation of APB 23 assertions for unremitted earnings and the related outside basis differences.Manage FIN 48 positions relevant to international operations and maintain documentation and support for audit readiness.Support the implementation and ongoing compliance with OECD Pillar 2 rules, in collaboration with the transfer pricing group and external advisors.

Structuring, M&A, and Special Projects

Provide tax input on cross-border restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, legal entity rationalizations, and integration efforts.Conduct technical tax research and modeling to evaluate planning opportunities and risks across the international footprint.Work with internal stakeholders and external advisors to assess the tax implications of proposed and executed transactions.

Compliance & Oversight

Partner with the broader tax and controllership teams to ensure accurate international tax provision inputs under ASC 740.Coordinate the review of U.S. international tax forms prepared by external service providers, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, and 8865, as well as BEAT, GILTI and Subpart F reporting.Ensure timely and accurate compliance filings and work closely with advisors to address any technical or data-related issues.Provide guidance on the impact of international tax laws, including new legislation and administrative guidance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and Controllership to ensure tax considerations are integrated into strategic decisions.Support external auditors and internal controls related to international tax matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.

6–10 years of relevant experience in international tax at a Big 4 firm or within a large multinational tax department.Strong technical knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (Subpart F, BEAT, GILTI, FTC, APB 23) and OECD Pillar 2.Experience with ASC 740 and international tax accounting principles.Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities .

This position will be located in our Wilmington office, 3 days per week.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $121,500.00 and $202,500.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
