Aon’s Global Client Network (AGCN) is comprised of dedicated teams of risk advisor's throughout the world. The AGCN provides counsel and advice at the local and home office levels, helping global organizations identify and manage various types of risks impacting their businesses. AGCN facilitates innovative cross-border solutions, in addition to thought leadership and knowledge sharing that empowers results for complex multinational organizations.
This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site for 3 days from our Los Angeles office.

What the day will look like
+ Provide international expertise and counsel to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts, as well as supporting ad hoc requests from colleagues within the office and/or region.
+ Design, placement and servicing of large and complex international casualty insurance program, including those with alternative risk financing structures
+ Participate in renewal strategy discussions to understand clients’ needs and develop strategies as part of the account team.
+ Identify and analyze client exposures and determine which markets to utilize, ensuring thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace
+ Act as the primary negotiator in marketing International Casualty controlled program placements to a variety of insurance carriers with knowledge and evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
+ Present marketing results and comparisons including alternative options and/or design risk transfer/financing products to the client where needed.
+ Draft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
+ Responsible for client service for assigned book of business including billing, policy collection, review and transmittal in accordance with established service standards.
+ Liaise with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities, including values collection, premium allocations, premium tracking and policy issuance.
+ Explain general coverages to insurance buyers who are not familiar with insurance practices. Enlist Aon regional experts to address specialized needs.
+ Work closely with Producers, Account Executives, and other members of the client facing team to understand individual client’s needs.
+ Understand and articulate value of the AGCN and finalize remuneration using appropriate tools and service level agreements.
+ Keep abreast of market trends, underwriting appetites and pricing practices.
+ Apply logical thinking and past experiences to problems and solutions and recognize when more information is needed to make a decision.
+ Drive utilization of available technology, portals and resources.
+ Demonstrate ability with all elements of client presentations including technical writing and verbal presentation skills.
+ Establish understanding of claims administration process and utilize the claims and legal advocacy group where needed.
+ Manage book of business for profitability.
+ Retain and grow assigned clients/prospects.
+ Engage in new business and account penetration opportunities.
+ Understand the causes of E&O and avoid and adopt practices to reduce exposure.
+ Perform related duties as assigned.
+ May include some travel, dependent on portfolio.
How this opportunity is different
The AGCN Broker is responsible for the management of a complex portfolio of international accounts, including placement and service, and ensure multinational client deliverables are maintained.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Experience providing counsel to multinational clients including coordination of service for outward business, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and/or leading collaboration across offices and/or geographies to support multinational risk management/finance practices on behalf of insureds, brokers, and/or insurers.
Required Experience:
+ 2-5 years in broking, underwriting, account management, and international experience is preferred.
+ Exceptional knowledge of multinational insurance programs and supporting counsel and service, with a focus on international casualty programs
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Strong negotiation skills
+ Strong collaboration, relationship building and communication skills
+ Exceptional presentation skills
+ Demonstrated Leadership skills
+ Multicultural awareness
+ Active P&C License or willingness to obtain one
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
+ Must maintain an active Property and Casualty insurance license, or be able to acquire one within the first 90 days of employment

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000-$120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Los Angeles, CA. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
