Mayo Clinic International has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Manager to join our growing team!

The International Advisory Services Associate Manager provides business and healthcare analysis services at a local, institutional or enterprise level for international healthcare consulting clients. Understands and considers both the business and the technical needs of all customers with the goal of providing a quality product or process that meets the business objectives, as directed by each statement of work.  Examines costs, benefits and risks associated with the proposed investment/project and recommends alternatives for solutions throughout the business life cycle. Collaborates with stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical subject matter experts and users to synthesize, articulate and document business objectives and requirements by applying system and analytical thinking methodology and discipline. Understands business strategy and business planning principles within a healthcare setting and applies with minimal guidance in project work (areas may include but not limited to value proposition, mission/strategy, goals/objectives, technology assessments, funding, and management/administration, clinical service optimization, facilities reviews, and other services provided by the consulting team to represent Mayo Clinic). Performs data analysis, defines and documents business requirements, supports translation to functional specifications early in the development cycle, and concludes with design synthesis and system validation while considering the complete system within the unique context of each client. Assists project leaders in coordinating deployment of deliverables. Possesses the healthcare knowledge and demonstrated use of business analysis methodologies and tools utilized by Mayo Clinic. Maintains effective correspondence and in-person communication. Builds credibility, rapport and partners with others to understand their needs. Works in partnership with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to develop a solid knowledge base of business and healthcare needs, including knowledge of healthcare systems and provider and payor relationships internationally. Provides input for development of detailed project charter and plans, work assignments, target dates, and other aspects of assigned projects. Applies systems engineering methodologies and discipline throughout the project lifecycle. Develops client ready deliverables, including the content and formatting. May manage projects of limited complexity, which could include subcomponents of larger scale projects as directed by project leaders.

International travel to support onsite client delivery will be required on a monthly basis. The frequency and cadence may change based on client need and contract. 



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science related field OR Masters and 2 years’ experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science related field. 
Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools and products.

Compensation Detail

$78,603 - $110,052/ year Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
