Internal Sales Engineer (based in Taipei, Taiwan)

We are looking for Internal Sales Engineer position to join our Endress+Hauser International (E+H INT) Asia Pacific in Taipei, Taiwan.  

 

What is the role about?

 

Internal Sales Support for local organization, sales channel partner and customersReview request for quotations and prepare best fit technical and commercial proposalMaintain all activities in Salesforce.com (SFDC) platformTake ownership of complaints and other issues affecting customer satisfaction

 

Which tasks will you perform? 

 

Creation of new customer accounts in SFDC/ SAPTransformation of inquiries into quotes including clarification of the technical and commercial and export conditionsCreation of quotes in accordance with E+H INT regulations (exceptional price arrangements) and active follow-up of quotesClarification of unclear orders against quotes (purchase conditions, terms and conditions and commissions according to E+H INT regulations)Order and quote related negotiations (price, delivery time, modified products (TSP), certificates and so on) with Production Centers (PCs), suppliers and customersHandover of technical and commercial orders via SAP, not including Automated Order Handling, to the Shipment Export CoordinatorEnter and maintain purchase orders in SAPProactive "partner"/supporter of local organizations/ Business Development Manager/ External Sales Engineer/ Shipment Export Coordinator/ customers for all technical and commercial issuesProactive "partner"/supporter of local organizations/ Business Development Manager/ Shipment Export Coordinator in negotiations with customersOrganization and execution support of inspections, certifications and customer seminarsActive support in instrument project acquisitionSupport of Business Development Manager/ External Sales Engineer in general country specific business plans, performance evaluations, analysis and customer care (customers and partners)Active in project acquisition.Coordination of national and international projectsOther tasks upon reasonable request by Company from time to time

 

 

What do we expect from you?

 

Bachelor Degree of EngineeringAn engineering background (or industry-based equivalent) in automation4+ years of working experienceStrong technical instrumentation and application knowledgeExperience in dealing with EPCs or local system integration (SI) customers is a plusA solid understanding and practical experience of government tender procedures and import/export regulations are a mustInternal sales know-howBasic commercial knowledgeAble to work and think independentlyEnthusiasmInternal & external communication skillsPro-active mindsetStrong customer orientationBeing a self-starter who can take care of challenging tasks and run with itNegotiation skillsIntercultural understandingFlexibilityProficiency in English and Mandarin
