Internal Sales – Electrical Wholesale
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We’re looking for an experienced and confident Internal Salesperson to join a well-established electrical wholesaler based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy sales environment and has strong knowledge of electrical products and customer service.
About the Role
You'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling incoming enquiries, providing product advice, and processing orders. You'll also support the external sales team and help manage customer accounts to ensure excellent service is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Handling customer enquiries by phone, email, and at the trade counterPreparing and following up on quotationsProcessing sales orders accurately and efficientlyProviding product advice and support to customersBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customersLiaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilmentSupporting external sales with leads, customer updates, and account managementWhat We’re Looking For
Previous experience in internal sales within the electrical wholesale industry (essential)Good product knowledge across electrical goods and componentsStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approachConfident using order processing systems and basic IT toolsOrganised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWhat’s on Offer
